The best guess at the mysterious 4th shin tool. Modeled after what was seen in a photo shared by Daydream’s Mario Maala these supposed microphone handles have been sized to the shin tool pockets and modeled to accept a casting of a Graflex button. While we may never know for sure what this part was this is the communities best guess based on all the known reference material.
On the original tools one side is clearly left open while the other has what appears to have a red button lodged in it. The best guess for this button is of course the Graflex button as Lucasfilm would have had many on hand at the time for light sabers, EE-3, and the ST blaster. To complete this replica an accurate resin casting has been made of a real vintage Graflex button and it has been inserted into these resin printed shin tools.
